On racial segregation

All races are equal

(Al-Kafi, vol 8, page 230) 

“I was with al-Rida (as) in his travel to Khorasan. 

So one day, he ordered a plate [of food] - so a group of his followers from blacks and others gathered on it. 

So I said: ‘May I be sacrificed for you [O Imam], wouldn’t it be better if you had segregated a plate for them [blacks]?’ 

So he [the Imam] said: “Our Lord is one, our mother [Eve] is one, our father [Adam] is one, and our recompense [on Day of Judgement] is one”

296 - عدة من أصحابنا، عن أحمد بن محمد، عن عبد الله بن الصلت، عن رجل من أهل بلخ قال : كنت مع الرضا (عليه السلام) في سفرهإلى خراسان فدعا يوما بمائدة له فجمع عليها مواليه من السودان وغير هم فقلت: جعلت فداك لو عزلت لهؤلاء مائدة؟ فقال: مه إن الرب تباركوتعالى واحد والام واحدة والأب واحد والجزاء بالأعمال.
